Quick start
- Draw a note to the end of a looping clip.
- Place Bridge before your instrument: MIDI clip → Bridge → synth or sampler.
- Leave Enabled on and start playback. The next loop must return the same pitch on the same MIDI channel.
Bridge produces MIDI, not sound. If your DAW loads it on a separate track, route its MIDI output to the instrument and enable monitoring. It does not pass audio through.
How Bridge decides what to hold
Bridge delays each final note-off by 30 ms. If the same note returns in that window, it stays held without a new attack. Otherwise, it releases.
Different pitches and channels stay independent. Overlapping copies of the same note share one output; suppressed retriggers do not apply their new velocity.
All Notes Off / All Sound Off releases every tracked note. Other controller messages pass through. The receiving instrument must support sustained notes; Bridge cannot extend a one-shot sample.

The DAW session saves Enabled. Bridge has no Project Library.
After changing an instrument preset: press Re-arm Notes before the next loop. The instrument may have silenced its voices while Bridge still considers them held.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Check |
|---|---|
| Note retriggers | Match pitch and channel; keep the gap within 30 ms. |
| No sound | Check instrument routing and monitoring. After a preset change, use Re-arm Notes. |
| Stuck note | Turn Enabled off or press Re-arm Notes. |
| Late releases or merged rapid notes | The 30 ms window affects ordinary notes too. Turn Enabled off when you need separate attacks. |
| Note stops at a clip change | The DAW may be sending All Notes Off or All Sound Off. Bridge forwards these resets. |
