Terms & Privacy

This page explains how you can use ISOREK software, how paid licenses work, and how we handle basic website, purchase, license, and support data.

Terms of Use

1. Agreeing to These Terms

By downloading, installing, or using any ISOREK software, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not download, install, or use the software.

2. Ownership

Every feature in an ISOREK plugin remains available in free mode. Free mode only asks you to sort five numbers before editing: once at startup, then at most every five minutes. A paid license removes these prompts, which never appear during playback or export. Paid licenses support up to five activations and can be managed through Lemon Squeezy. Whether you use free mode or a paid license, you may use the plugin in personal projects, commercial releases, live performances, or anything else you make, as long as you follow these terms. There are no subscription fees or "always-on" DRM.

You own the music you make with our plugins. You do not own the software code itself. A license is like buying a physical synthesizer: you can use it to make music, but you do not own the factory schematics or the right to manufacture copies. The software, its source code, and its internal design still belong to ISOREK. This means:

  • You may not take the software apart to copy, extract, or rebuild its source code or internal logic.
  • You may not share copies of our software with other people. Each copy is for the person who downloaded or purchased it.
  • You may not resell our software or license it to someone else unless we agree in writing first.

Some plugins may be offered free of charge. "Free" only means the price is zero. Free plugins still follow these terms.

3. No Warranty Promise

We strive to deliver reliable, well-tested software, but bugs and unexpected behavior can occur. We do not guarantee that the software will work perfectly on every system or in every DAW. You are responsible for deciding whether the software is right for your setup and for any risk that comes with installing and using it.

4. Limits on Responsibility

For example, if your DAW crashes during a live gig or a project file gets corrupted while using our plugins, we are deeply sorry, but we cannot be held legally or financially responsible for those damages or lost income.

This applies no matter what kind of legal claim is made, even if we were told that this kind of problem could happen.

5. Updates and Support

We may update, change, or stop offering any product at any time. We do not promise updates, patches, or support forever, though we intend to actively maintain our software for the long term.

6. Content From Other Creators

Some products may include or be inspired by content from other creators. We will credit that content when needed. We do not claim ownership of it, and it may also have its own rules from the original creator.

7. Third-party Notices

ISOREK plugins are built with the JUCE Framework, licensed by Raw Material Software Limited under AGPLv3 or commercial JUCE terms.

8. Changes to This Page

We may update this page from time to time. If you keep using our software after the terms or privacy details change, it means you accept the updated version. We encourage you to review this page occasionally.

Privacy Policy

The Short Version

We build music software, not ad networks. We do not track you across the internet or use invasive analytics. The only personal information involved is the basic information needed to run the website, process purchases, issue licenses, and answer support requests, which we explain here in plain English.

1. Website Hosting and Security

Our website is hosted with Cloudflare so it stays fast and secure. When you visit the site, Cloudflare may log basic information like your IP address, browser type, and the time of your visit. This is used to protect the site from attacks, malicious bots, and spam. We do not use this data to personally identify you.

2. Purchases and License Keys

Payments and license keys are handled through Lemon Squeezy. We do not see, process, or store your credit card number or payment details on our own servers.

Lemon Squeezy collects the information needed to complete the sale, such as your name, email address, and billing details. It may share the information we need to issue your license key, manage your activations, and provide support.

3. License Checks and App Usage

Our software does not contain invasive phone-home telemetry or always-on DRM. If the app connects to the internet to validate a license key or activation, it only sends the minimum information needed to verify your purchase and activation. If you choose to enable anonymous usage statistics, they are used only for internal planning to show us which versions, systems, and plugin formats need our attention next. The app sends at most one heartbeat per day with basic app details such as product, version, operating system, plugin format, license state, and a random per-product installation ID. This heartbeat never includes MIDI, presets, project names, audio, license keys, email, personal files, or a hardware fingerprint. We do not track how or when you use the software inside your DAW.

4. Support and Contact

If you contact us for support, licensing help, feature requests, or anything else, we use the information you provide only to respond and help with your request. We will not add you to a newsletter unless you clearly agree to it.

The in-app support form can optionally include a restorable project JSON containing project names and musical or plugin settings. It is sent only when you turn on the project option for that message.

5. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask for a copy of the personal data we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. To make that request, please use our contact page.
